P5-7 children are studying World War One for their World Around Us Topic this Term. Arnold Beattie kindly came to school today to share his indepth knowledge about World War One! He spoke about how local families, including his own family had been personally affected during and after the War. He brought lots of interesting objects for the children to look at and hold. Everyone really enjoyed his talk!
