We have just completed Week 1 of Sustrans 'Big Walk and Wheel Fortnight' and it has been great seeing so many of our pupils making 'active' journeys to school this week.
As we enter the second and final week we are hoping that the weather might improve slightly so that more of our pupils get the opportunity to make 'active' journeys.
We would encourage our pupils if possible to walk, cycle or use a scooter to school and for those who live a little further away then 'park and stride' is a good alternative where you can park in the village square and walk the short distance to school.
We look forward to seeing 'active' journeys next week.
