This morning, our boys For the second day in a row our hockey team travelled to Cookstown High School, this time it was the boys for the regional qualifiers of the Pearson Cup.
There was a wealth of talent and experience on show from the schools involved with many teams being able to draw on the pupils attending Cookstown Mini Hockey Club.
Although they found themselves on the wrong side of a few closely contested games, our team displayed excellent determination, teamwork and sportsmanship.
It was a great learning experience to play against players with a greater background in hockey and will stand them in good stead next year as the majority of the current team are P5 or P6.
Team- Eden, Jackson, Caleb, Daniel, Shane, Harry, Micah, Jack and Logan.
The team played matches against Phoenix, Orritor, Moneymore, Cookstown, Donaghey, Ballytrea and Castledawson in what were lovely sunny Spring conditions.
