Wendy Stevenson, Aedamar McCrossan and JP McCarton helped the P6/7 pupils conduct ‘speed tests’ along the Urbal Road using the ‘Radar Gun’. They also spoke about general road safety and the importance of wearing bright colours and reflective items on their clothing during the darker mornings and evenings. Everyone enjoyed their short stay in the back of the Police Van. Thankfully the pupils were not locked up for too long!! This visit linked in extremely well with the recent Literacy topic on ‘Road Safety’ that the P6/7 class have been studying.
