The P6/7 pupils were joined by the P5/6/7 class from Ballylifford Primary School in the latest session of their World Around Us Topic- The Rainforest
At the start of the session the pupils had to present their presentation to the rest of the class. They were required to research a Rainforest Animal and a Plant then create a short presentation in groups.
The second part of the session involved the pupils working in small groups to create a 'Rainforest Scene' using natural materials found around the school playground and garden. This was an excellent opportunity for the pupils from both schools to actively use our fantastic grounds to create their finished pictures.
