Each child in school has received a high visibility vest and school bag reflector which have been delivered to us because of our participation in the Sustrans Active School Travel Programme.
Over the past few years Johnny from Sustrans has visited school many times to deliver different programmes to the various classes and it is great to receive these High Visibility Vests and Reflectors. We are sure these will be extremely useful as we move into the darker evenings and mornings.
Currently there is a huge emphasis on getting out in the fresh air for health and wellbeing. We continue to encourage you and your children to make active journeys to school such as walking, cycling and ‘park and striding’. All these activities help to promote a healthy lifestyle and help ease the congestion around the school entrance and exit at drop off and pick up times.
Over the coming weeks could you take some photographs of your child using their High Visibility Vests and Reflectors and send them to your teacher via Seesaw.
