P2 had a fun filled “World Book Day” with lots of different activities.
The pupils started the day with a show and tell. P2 got to bring in their favourite book and tell the rest of the class all about it.
P2 completed a World Book Day Task Board:
1. Book Tasting menu - the pupils got to pick a book from a menu, just like being in a restaurant.
2. Story Cubes - the boys and girls rolled some story cubes dice and told a story with the pictures they landed on.
3. Bookmarkers - the class decorated the Bookmarkers with their names on them which Miss Gibson had made.
In the afternoon all P2 went outside and read their favourite books at the outdoor picnic area.
Great fun was had by all!!
