P1 and P2 boys and girls had a very special visitor in school this morning. Mrs McClenaghan, who is a nurse, came to class with a variety of medical equipment. She took time to explain and show how she looked after her patients in hospital. The children were very excited to listen to Mrs McClenaghan’s stories and use some of the equipment she had brought. There are definitely some budding nurses in class! Every child received a sticker for being a great listener!
It was a fantastic way to end our topic ‘People Who Help Us’!
