Girls' Hockey Team Compete in McCloy Qualifiers
Today, the girls' hockey team travelled to Cookstown High School to take part in the McCloy qualifiers. This was the team’s first competitive outing of the year, and they performed brilliantly throughout the tournament.
The girls showed great determination and teamwork in all their matches, securing a 1-0 victory (Amy - 1 Goal) and narrowly missing out on more points with two 1-0 defeats and a 2-0 defeat. They played against Augher, Donaghey, Moneymore, Ballytrea, and Orritor in the group stages, competing well in every game.
Congratulations to Orritor and Woods, who have progressed to the McCloy Cup Finals in Belfast.
A huge well done to all the girls for their fantastic effort and sportsmanship throughout the tournament.
