P6/7 Residential at Gortatole (Day 2)- Another glorious morning weather wise saw Group 1 and Group 2 reverse yesterdays activities of Hill Walking and Caving. Both groups really enjoyed these activities after hearing about them from their friends yesterday. The afternoon session had Group 1 in the Canoes while Group 2 stayed on site to tackle the climbing wall. Group 1 came back a little ‘damper’ than when they left Gortatole on the canoes! Group 2 definitely had sore arms after scaling some serious heights on the wall. The day ended with Archery and Team Building Games which all pupils really enjoyed. There were certainly no problems getting the pupils to their bedrooms tonight! Many were knackered and eagerly seeking bed!!
