Over the past 6-8 weeks children from P6 and P7 have been taking part in the HEARTSTART programme led by Mrs Wilson. They have learned a variety of valuable life saving skills which include treatments for serious bleeding, suspected heart attack, choking, working with a concious casualty and how to put an unconscious casualty in the recovery position. In addition to this they have also learnt how to deliver CPR. Well done to all those who have taken part and hopefully they will retain these skill as they enter young adulthood.
