Hockey ‘Blitz’ Tournament at Cookstown High School. Two teams from Coagh made the short trip to Cookstown High School to take part in the ‘Blitz’ Tournament.
The girls gave an excellent account of themselves and were very competitive against some excellent teams. The next few years look bright as the team was made up of players from P4 upwards so it was great experience for them.
The boys put in some super performances today only losing narrowly 1:0 to both Moneymore and Cookstown in two really tight games. The boys scored 12 goals during the tournament. The goal scorers were Max- 3 goals, Caleb- 5 goals and Alfie- 4 goals. The boys finished joint 3rd after playing out an entertaining 4:4 draw against Donaghey in the 3rd/4th place playoff. Caleb was awarded player of the tournament.
