Term 2 House Point Prize – Real Life Maths in Action
As we approach the end of Term 2, the eagerly anticipated House Point totals were calculated, and the winning Houses were announced. To reward pupils for their hard work and effort, this term’s prize was a special visit to SPAR in Coagh.
Each pupil received a set amount of money based on their House’s final position, with amounts such as 60p, 80p, and so on. Pupils then had the opportunity to put their maths skills into practice in a real-life setting by purchasing items in the shop.
This was a fantastic opportunity for pupils to develop their understanding of money, budgeting, and decision-making, while also enjoying a well-earned reward.
Congratulations to all our pupils for their excellent behaviour and sensible approach to spending. It was great to see them applying their learning so confidently and respectfully in the community.
