On Wednesday, four of our P6 pupils represented Coagh Primary School at the Northern Ireland finals for both K'Nex and STEM Construction.
Micah and Darren competed in the K'Nex challenge and had to design and build a helicopter with rotating blades and a helipad

.Cooper and Daniel competed in the STEM Construction challenge and had to design and build a bridge to span a certain distance capable of supporting a ‘taxi’ crossing it 
.
.Both teams completed their ‘design brief’ successfully, and their designs and finished items looked fantastic 
. The judges commented on how great all the designs were, which was brilliant for the pupils.
