As part of their Literacy work on 'The Blue Balloon', P1 and P2 have had lots of fun exploring balloons in different ways. They were especially excited to create their own ice balloons! The children carefully filled balloons with water, using lots of descriptive language to talk about how they felt before placing them in the freezer. The next day, they were thrilled to examine their frozen creations, noticing how the texture and temperature had changed. To complete their learning, they provided step-by-step instructions to help others make their own ice balloons. It was a fantastic hands-on experience that brought learning to life!
