Our P1 & P2 children had an exciting outdoor numeracy session this week as part of Maths Week
The P1 pupils explored different shapes they found around the playground and garden, using their bodies to recreate some of the shapes they discovered. What a fun way to learn!
Meanwhile, the P2 pupils took on an important task of collecting various environmental shapes into baskets. They discussed the shapes and their properties before sorting them into sets using hoops in the outdoor classroom!
A busy but fun time was had by all!
