P4 learned about mummification in Ancient Egypt. They mummified tomatoes by scooping out the middle of the tomato, placing it in a cup (sarcophagus) and pouring a mixture of salt and baking soda on top of the tomato until it was covered. P4 will uncover their tomatoes in a few weeks to see how well they have been preserved.
