Shared Education - Week 7
This week marked the seventh session of our Shared Education Programme, with pupils continuing to explore their World Around Us topic on Lough Neagh through engaging and interactive activities.
Group 1 and Group 2 travelled to Derrychrin Primary School, where they continued using Adobe to create informative digital booklets about Lough Neagh. The pupils worked collaboratively, further developing their research, writing, and digital design skills while presenting key information on this important local resource.
Group 3 travelled to Cookstown to visit Ballinderry Rivers Trust, a visit that had to be rescheduled due to Storm Éowyn a few weeks ago. During their trip, pupils had the opportunity to see the fishery and conservation efforts in action, learning firsthand about the crucial work being done to protect and maintain the health of the river ecosystem.
