This week our P6/7 pupils had their eighth session of our Shared Education Project, where pupils continued their learning on the World Around Us topic of Lough Neagh. This week, pupils from Coagh Primary School travelled to Ballylifford Primary School and Ballinderry Community Hub to take part in a range of engaging and interactive activities.
Class 1 worked with Jillian from Ballinderry Rivers Trust to investigate the effects of pollution in Lough Neagh, deepening their understanding of environmental conservation.
Class 2 participated in an interactive session with Stephanie from TimeSteps, exploring the history of the Vikings and their connections to Lough Neagh.
Class 3 visited Ballinderry Community Hub, where they focused on basketball skills, developing teamwork and coordination through physical activity.
It was another fantastic day of learning, collaboration, and new experiences. We look forward to continuing our Shared Education journey in the weeks ahead!
