There was great excitement in the P1/2 classroom today as our teddy bears joined us in school! Our teddies had great fun joining in at playtime. Some of us built houses for our teddies, while others took time to draw them, and some teddy bears were lucky enough to get a story read to them.
Our current World Around Us topic is ‘Toys’ and we have been learning about different types of toys, as well as exploring old toys. Today we heard about where the teddy bear got its name from and how they have been a popular toy for many years.
We hope all the teddy bears enjoyed themselves, as much as we enjoyed having them!
