Tri County FUTSAL Tournament

This morning, Coagh Primary School proudly participated in the Tri County FUTSAL Tournament held at Cookstown Leisure Centre. We were delighted to enter two teams—Coagh Primary School and Coagh 'Colts'—into a competition that featured six schools: Ballytrea Primary School, Churchtown Primary School, Coagh Primary School, Coagh 'Colts', Donaghey Primary School, and Queen Elizabeth II Primary School (Pomeroy).

Both Coagh teams delivered exceptional performances throughout the tournament:

  • The Coagh 'Colts' team scored 11 goals and conceded just 2.
  • The Coagh Primary School team netted an impressive 13 goals, conceding only 1.

The competition was incredibly close, and the FUTSAL Cup was shared between three schools: Ballytrea Primary School, Coagh Primary School, and Queen Elizabeth II Primary School (Pomeroy). Congratulations to all three schools on their remarkable achievement!

  • Goals Scored By: Cooper (5), Amy (3), Shane (3), Jack (1) and Harry (1)
  • Team Members: Micah (GK), Harry, Ewan, Jack, Shane, Cooper, Amy, Alexander, Callum, and Joel

This was a fantastic morning of football. It is also a moment of pride for Coagh Primary School as we are currently holding all three football trophies we compete for: the Indoor Football Cup, the FUTSAL Cup, and the Outdoor Football Cup.

Well done to all our pupils for their hard work, teamwork, and sportsmanship. You have done the school proud!
