WW1 Exhibition at British Legion (Cookstown)
To complement to work that Key Stage 2 pupils have been doing recently on their World War 1 Topic the pupils from P5-P7 had the opportunity to visit the British Legion WW1 exhibition in Cookstown this morning. This was a great chance for the pupils to see some WW1 uniforms and weapons. They also had to opportunity to see what a trench might have looked like and to be stretcher bearers. One of the highlights for some of the pupils was the replica WW1 Tank. Thank you to the organisers as it was great to see ‘living’ history.
